NICU Research at AAP

Please congratulate Mira Dunham (MS-IV) and Kelsey Haarbauer (first year NICU fellow) on successful presentations of our NICU research on prenatal opioid exposure at the AAP national meeting in New Orleans. Mira presented a poster in the Peds in the 21st Century section with a special focus on the opioid crisis. Kelsey gave an oral presentation of 3 years of data on CPS outcomes for opioid exposed WV newborns to the Council on Foster Care and Adoption. Mentors for the project were Pete Yossuck, Cody Smith, Lesley Cottrell, and Autumn Kiefer. Please congratulate our trainees who did a wonderful job representing our institution!
