WVU in the News: WVU School of Public Health and Monongalia Co. Health Dept. collaborate to create unique program
The Monongalia County Health Dept. and the West Virginia University School of Public Health are teaming up to create a new program that will be the first of its kind in the state.
The Academic Health Department, as it will be known, will give students real-world access to the field they want to work in while giving the MCHD access to the University’s research and more. That is according to Keith Zullig, PhD, the chair of the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences, in the School of Public Health.
