Molecular Dynamics Typhoon 9410 Variable Mode Imager
The Typhoon 9410 Imager is a multi-mode imager that produces digital images of radioactive, fluorescent or chemiluminescent samples.
The Typhoon has 3 modes:
- Storage Phosphor: creates images from radiolabeled samples
- Fluorescence: creates images from fluorescently labeled samples
- Red-excited mode: for fluorescent dyes excited at 633nm
- Green-excited mode: for fluorescent dyes excited at 532nm
- Blue-excited mode: for fluorescent dyes excited at 4157nm or 488nm
- Multilabel-excited mode: creates images from a sample labeled with up to 4 fluorescent dyes with one or more of the wavelengths
- Chemiluminescent mode: creates images from chemiluminescent samples
The Typhoon has the capability of scanning using a 10µm pixel size
Access to the Typhoon Imager requires a short training session and approved access to the room. Please contact Paolo Fagone at pafagone@hsc.wvu.edu or 3-7728 for more information.
