    My research is centered around how the photoreceptor responds to stress and the role of Heat Shock Protein 90 (HSP90) in the photoreceptor stress response.

    I am interested in understanding the importance of protein posttranslational modification and the functional diversity it imparts to the protein. I use photoreceptor neurons as my model system.
