Walk with a Future Doc session to feature discussion on exercise and movement

This week's Walk with a Future Doc session will include a presentation from David Donley, M.S., on exercise and movement.

Dr. Donley is an associate professor for the exercise physiology program at the WVU School of Medicine.

His presentation is titled "Exercise vs Movement: The Importance of Identifying a Movement Prescription for Optimal Health." Donley will speak about the differences between exercise and movement, and the importance of maintaining both.

The walk will be held on Saturday, September 3, at 10 a.m. in a hybrid format. Participants can meet at Star City Riverfront Park, at mile marker 6.7 on the Mon River Rail-Trail near Terra Cafe, to walk in-person. Participants can also join the walk remotely via Zoom and walk along at home.

To receive emails with all the information for each walk, including the Zoom link to join virtually, you can sign up for the WVU Walk with a Future Doc Newsletter.
