ACE - Assist, Connect, and Encourage

WVU Obstetrics and Gynecology ACE Program

Project Overview

The ACE program is for WVU OB/GYN patients who are pregnant or postpartum who need support coping with substance use.  ACE goes above and beyond regular prenatal care by offering individualized services tailored to meet the needs of program participants.

The ACE staff works with women throughout pregnancy and up to 2 years postpartum. Women are eligible to enter the program at any time throughout that period.

Services offered include in person and telephone support from a certified peer recovery coach, patient liaison services, referrals to behavioral health providers and facilities, connections to community recovery resources, and more!

ACE is funded by the West Virginia Perinatal Partnership through their Drug-Free Moms and Babies Initiative.

All Referrals can be made by calling 304-293-1706.
