Dr. Hassan Ramadan joins world experts at Pan-American ENT Conference in Santiago

Hassan Ramadan, M.D., MSc, FACS, chairman and professor of the Department of Otolaryngology, spoke at the Pan-American Congress of Otorhinolaryngology in Santiago, Chile, on Nov. 11-14.

Dr. Ramadan served as an invited speaker, joining a panel of international experts to discuss recent advances in surgery for pediatric chronic rhinosinusitis (pCRS) at the international conference. 

“It was a profound honor to serve as one of the invited speakers at the recent Pan-American Congress of Otorhinolaryngology,” Ramadan said. “I had the privilege of joining a panel of world specialists for an insightful discussion on the latest advancements in surgery for pediatric chronic rhinosinusitis.”

He was also selected to chair a consensus panel charged with developing updated clinical guidelines for surgical interventions in chronic rhinosinusitis in children.

“This initiative aims to distill expert opinions into actionable clinical statements, clarifying indications and approaches for this challenging condition,” he said. “I am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with esteemed colleagues from around the world and contribute to advancements that will ultimately improve patient care for children with CRS.”

The organization brings together ear, nose and throat specialists from more than 20 countries across North, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. The Panamerican Association of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, is a non-governmental, nonprofit organization founded in 1946 in Chicago. The association promotes scientific and cultural exchange and hosts annual congresses to highlight collaboration and innovation within the specialty.
