Medicine Grand Rounds: Dr. Jarrar to give presentation on asthma management

Ahmad Jarrar, M.D., MHA, will give a presentation on asthma management for the Department of Medicine grand rounds on Friday, Feb 14, at noon.

Dr. Jarrar is an assistant professor of pulmonary and critical care medicine and an ambulatory subspecialty medical director for the Department of Medicine. The presentation is titled "Role of Biologics in Severe Asthma Management."

The primary objectives of this presentation are to identify the common chronic diseases that affect West Virginians, determine the best treatment practices for these diseases, and deliver the best care possible to patients by better understanding the resources available and how to consult appropriate services.

The presentation will be held online via Zoom and in person. The in-person presentation will take place in the Fukushima Auditorium on the first floor of the Health Sciences Center near the entrance to the Dental Clinic.
