Medicine Grand Rounds: Dr. Sunzeri to give presentation on common medical errors

Lindsay Sunzeri, M.D., will give a presentation on common medical errors for the Department of Medicine grand rounds on Friday, Aug. 29, at noon.

Dr. Sunzeri is an associate professor in the Department of Medicine. Her presentation is titled "Medical Errors: Effects on Patients, Physicians and Practice." The presentation will review common medical errors and malpractice, provide insight into malpractice lawsuits and review the effects these incidents can have on physicians and their practice of medicine.

The presentation will be held online via Zoom and in person. The in-person presentation will take place in the Fukushima Auditorium, located on the first floor of the Health Sciences Center near the entrance to the Dental Clinic.
