POSTPONED: Electrical outage scheduled for School of Dentistry areas Jan. 24-25

The electrical outage scheduled for this weekend—Saturday, Jan. 24, and Sunday, Jan. 25—has been postponed.

Due to the forecasted snowstorm this weekend, the team has decided to postpone the planned electrical outage for the School of Dentistry. We apologize for the short notice; however, as the weather predictions have become more certain, we believe this decision is in the best interest of the facility and all personnel involved. The outage has been tentatively rescheduled for Feb. 7-8. Additional details will be shared once plans are finalized.

ORIGINAL (1/20/26):

An electrical outage is scheduled for Saturday, January 24 through Sunday, January 25, due to ongoing renovations in the School of Dentistry. The outage will begin at approximately 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and is expected to conclude Sunday afternoon.

All equipment, such as computers, lab devices, or refrigerators, that must remain operational during the outage should be coordinated through Health Sciences Facilities Management. Arrangements can be made to place those items on emergency power by contacting HSC Facilities Management at 304-293-4115 to make arrangements for equipment needs.
