Visual Sciences CoBRE Seminar Series: Dr. Heidelberger to give presentation on retinal ribbon-style synapses

Ruth Heidelberger, M.D., Ph.D., will give a presentation on retinal ribbon-style synapses for the Visual Sciences Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (CoBRE) Seminar Series on Friday, Sept. 5, at 1 p.m.

Dr. Heidelberger is a professor and the Frederic B. Asche Chair in Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and McGovern Medical School Department of Neurobiology and Anatomy. Her presentation is titled "Roles of Syntaxin3B in Neurotransmitter Release at Retinal Ribbon-Style Synapses."

The presentation will be held in HSC North, Room 3129. No registration is required, and all are welcome to attend.
