CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — The national Public Health Emergency related to the COVID-19 pandemic is slated to officially end Thursday, which will bring updates and changes to many public health programs and services.

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources has issued guidance to help the public understand changes to programs in its Bureau for Medical Services and Bureau for Family Assistance, including Medicaid, the West Virginia Children’s Health Insurance Program, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT).
