American Geriatrics Society president-elect to present at upcoming Medicine Grand Rounds

Photo of Laurie JacobsLaurie Jacobs, MD, president-elect of the American Geriatrics Society and chair of the Department of Internal Medicine at Hackensack University will give the DZ Morgan Lecture at Medicine Grand Rounds this coming June.

Jacobs’ talk, “Perioperative Anticoagulation for Older Adults,” will be held Friday, June 14 at 8 a.m. in the Fukushima Auditorium.

In addition to her role as president-elect of the AGS, where she is also a fellow, Jacobs serves as a member of the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society editorial advisory board, is an American College of Physicians fellow and has been awarded the John A. Hartford Foundation Geriatric Leadership and Senior Leadership Awards, as well as Einstein’s Harry H. Gordon Award for Outstanding Clinical Teaching.
