With supportive teaching faculty, hands-on experience with expert supervision, a strong community spirit and opportunities for research across the university, many of our residents and fellows choose to make Morgantown, and other areas of West Virginia, their home. Our residents also land top-ranked fellowship placements and career opportunities in leading medical centers around the country.

WVU’s residency and fellowship training programs offer broad clinical experience, with rotation opportunities at many of our WVU Medicine partner hospitals and institutes, from the suburban hub of Morgantown to the many rural community care centers around the state. WVU Medicine partners also offer training opportunities, including the Harpers Ferry Family Medicine program, Charleston Area Medical Center and Camden Clark Medicine Center.
