Dr. John Prescott appointed to Professor Emeritus with the WVU Department of Emergency Medicine

Dr. John Prescott has been appointed to Professor Emeritus with the WVU Department of Emergency Medicine.

John is a friend and mentor to many in this department. He is one of the founding members of the department (along with our other two Professors Emeritus Dr. William Rose and Dr. Debra Paulson) who went on to have a successful career both within and after WVU.

During his career at WVU he served as Chair of EM, President and CEO of UHA, and Dean of the School of Medicine. After leaving WVU, he served at the Chief Academic Officer for the AAMC.
