Dr. Levy-Clarke to serve as speaker during Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research Journal Club

West Virginia University Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences associate professor Grace Levy-Clarke, M.D., will serve as one of the primary speakers during the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research Journal Club on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 5:30 p.m.

This virtual Continuing Medical Education event is co-hosted by the WVU Eye Institute and aims to improve the treatment and management of sarcoidosis by incorporating new research evidence into practice. The journal club is designed for physicians, researchers, residents and fellows who have an interest in current research findings pertaining to sarcoidosis. Those attending the event will receive 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.

For this journal club session, Dr. Levy-Clarke will serve as the discussant as she presents a recent important development in sarcoidosis clinical research. Meghan Berkenstock, M.D., an associate professor of ophthalmology at John Hopkins Medicine, will serve as the reviewer for this session and together they will lead a group discussion with all attendees following the presentation.

The FSR Journal Club is planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint partnership of the University of Florida College of Medicine and the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research. The University of Florida College of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education to physicians.
