Maintenance work causes stairwell in northeast tower to temporarily close

Routine maintenance is being performed on the main electrical switchgear for J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. As part of this project, Stairwell 12 in the northeast tower will be closed until late October.

The lit exit signs suspended from the ceiling near Stairwell 12 have been covered and signage has been placed on each level of the tower to ensure patients, visitors, and staff are aware that Stairwell 12 will not allow you to exit the building in the event of an emergency and that an alternate exit should be used.
