Nolan earns certification in low vision therapy

The WVU Division of Occupational Therapy is proud to announce the recent accomplishments of alumni Kayleigh Nolan, MOT, OTR/L, SCLV. Kayleigh recently received her Specialty Certification in Low Vision designation through the American Occupational Therapy Association in November 2020 following a rigorous review process. This distinction has been accomplished by less than 1% of occupational therapists nationally.

Kayleigh serves as an occupational therapist in the acute care setting at WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Kayleigh has focused her career in meeting the diverse needs of patients within the acute setting, with special interests in areas of neurological rehabilitation, low vision, and mental health. Within her role in the acute setting, Kayleigh saw a need for low vision education and expertise in the area. In addition to her role at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Kayleigh is actively pursuing a doctoral degree in Occupational Science and serves as an adjunct instructor for the Division of OT.  Kayleigh is 2016 graduate of the WVU MOT program.

Thanks for serving your community, Kayleigh. We are proud of your accomplishments!
