Q: Are PALM 205 and PALM 206 accredited?

Q: PALM 205 and PALM 206 are for whom?

A: Students interested in employment in a medical field - medicine, dentistry, nursing, dental hygiene, physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic trainers, etc. NBAN 205 and NBAN 206 provide basic anatomy concepts and preparation for graduate or professional positions. NBAN 205 and NBAN 206 also provide vocabulary and the basics for mastering higher-level anatomy courses (courses that assume the student already had an undergraduate anatomy course like NBAN 205 and NBAN 206). Many students have taken NBAN 205 and NBAN 206 as a prerequisite for admission into professional medical curricula.

Q: Are PALM 205 and PALM 206 self-paced?

A: No, both follow a schedule based on a complete semester or summer term. Exams are taken online on scheduled dates. Failure to take all exams by the class end date will result in an in a grade of Incomplete. 

Q: How often are PALM 205 and PALM 206 offered?

A: Both NBAN 205 and NBAN 206 are offered three times a year, in the fall and spring semesters and in the summer term. 

Q: What is the exam format?

A: Module exams for both NBAN 205 and NBAN 206 are fully on-line. They are given on specific dates, contain 50 questions each and students are given 70 minutes to complete each exam once they begin. Exams become available at 1:00 AM (EST) remain available until midnight (EST) on the scheduled date (giving the student a 23 hour window in which to take the exam).
