The Department of Family Medicine is celebrating a significant milestone—our 50th anniversary. This event will not only mark a half century of excellence in Family Medicine but will also focus on its past, present, and future.
We are excited to host primary care practitioners and alumni from across the state and region, with a keynote address by Dr. Warren Newton, President, and CEO of the American Board of Family Medicine.
Our department has graduated over three-hundred trained Family Medicine physicians who provide care throughout West Virginia and the country. This celebration will be a time to reflect with our graduates, former faculty and staff of the accomplishments and growth the department has made in the past 50 years and an opportunity to foresee the next 50 years!
“Honor the past, celebrate the present, build the future.”
