Application Information

Applicants to our residency program are required to be graduates from an accredited medical school and hold an M.D. or D.O. degree. International medical graduates are required to have an appropriate visa to work in the state of West Virginia. Our office can assist you with your questions and this process.

The Internal Medicine Residency Program will conduct virtual interviews only for the 2025 Match. Applications are only accepted through Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS), late September through December 1. Any application received outside of ERAS will NOT be considered. Our program utilizes Thalamus to extend invitations to interview with our program. Candidates are only invited once all of the required application documents have been received via ERAS. Our interview season is conducted from mid-October through January. During the interview process, applicants will meet with several faculty and house staff and will attend departmental conferences.
