Brain Awareness Week

Each spring WVU Neuroscience students visit local schools to teach kids about the brain and neuroscience through various games and activities. Activities include question and answer sessions, discussions about various parts of the brain, and sensorimotor activities such as a coloring page of neural structures and creating single neurons and neural networks with pipe-cleaners. All who would like to volunteer, please contact Dr. Valeriya Gritsenko (vgritsenko@hsc.wvu.edu).
