2026 Thyroid Disease Conference
The 2026 Thyroid Disease Conference is an accredited CME event hosted by the WVU Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences and the WVU Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, to be held at the WVU Erickson Alumni Center on Friday, August 14, from 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.
This conference is intended for attending physicians, fellows, residents and advanced practice professionals who practice endocrinology, ophthalmology, and those who have a vested interest in the subject of thyroid disease as it applies to their practice.
Speakers from WVU Medicine will give presentations on topics including management of hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism, thyroid cancer management, and evaluation of thyroid eye disease.

- Registration / Breakfast / Welcome Announcements: 7:30 - 8:15 a.m.
- Lectures (including breaks): 8:15 a.m. - 11:50 a.m.
- Lunch: 11:50 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Lectures (continued): 1 - 3:40 p.m.
- Closing Remarks / Conference Adjourned: 3:40 - 4 p.m.

Registration:
Registration is required to attend this event, and there is a $50 registration fee. To register, please fill out and submit payment via the online RSVP form by Friday, July 31, 2026.

- Differentiate the changes in guidelines and highlight best practices of thyroid disease management and care for adoption into clinical practice.
