Dr. Hussain receives 2022 “Young Investigator Achievements Award” from SOT
Dr. Salik Hussain received “Young Investigator Achievements Award” from the Inhalation and Respiratory Specialty Section (IRSS) of the Society of Toxicology (SOT) USA. This award was presented at the 61st Annual Meeting of the Society of Toxicology. This award is presented to a scientist that made significant contribution in the field of inhalation and respiratory toxicology. The criteria for award include originality, creativity, and impact of the recipients work in the field of inhalation and respiratory toxicology. Dr. Hussain is an assistant professor in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, an active investigator and executive committee member for the Center for Inhalation Toxicology (iTOX) and hold joint appointment in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Cell Biology.
