Allied Health Solutions will help system expand partnerships, says publication

A Pittsburgh Business Times article titled, "WVU Health System's new business takes it deep into southwestern Pa.," describes some of the goals and current initiatives of Allied Health Solutions, a new business venture that includes, "a mixture of new and existing organizations within WVU Health System, including the specialty pharmacy, group purchasing organization and durable medical equipment business, hospice and home healthcare, among others."

Paul Gallagher, a Pittsburgh veteran healthcare executive, joined Allied Health Solutions as president in July. He is based at WVU Medicine's offices at Southpointe, where Allied is co-headquartered along with Morgantown.
