CED announces new parent support group collaboration in Fairmont

A new in-person Circle of Parents support group will be starting on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the Disability Action Center in Fairmont, WV. The group will continue to meet monthly on the 3rd Friday of each month to share information, resources, laughter and support.

Circle of Parents support groups provide friendly, supportive environments led by parents and other caregivers. It’s a place where anyone in a parenting role can openly discuss the successes and challenges of raising children with special health care needs and/or disabilities. It’s a place where they can find and share support.

Please join us! By attending the Circle of Parents support group, you will:

• Be a part of a supportive community of parents and caregivers.
• Discuss the challenges and successes of parenting children with special health care needs, share ideas and network with others in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
• Learn about local resources and opportunities to support your family.
