Celebrate teamwork during IPE Month in April

April is Interprofessional Education (IPE) Month at the WVU Health Sciences Center. In celebration, the Office of Interprofessional Education will host a series of events:

• IPE Health Fair- April 1, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pylons. ALL welcome (students, faculty, staff, public)
• Art in the Pylons- April 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. WVU Art Therapy and Music Therapy students and faculty will be showcasing and helping participants create stress-relieving crafts and music over the lunch hours. 
• IPE Contraceptives Workshop- April 22 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in HSC-N G119A (on the ground floor past the HSC Bookstore.) This hands-on workshop, made possible by the Office of IPE Student Innovation Challenge, is for students and clinicians to learn a multitude of birth control methods and devices, who can prescribe birth control, and prescribing laws in West Virginia. Complete registration by April 8.
• IPE Awards Luncheon- April 24 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in the Chancellor's Suite. The event will be an IPE partnership with the HSC Library to celebrate the IPE Health Fair winners.
