Center for Integrative Pain Management offering free services to employees

Specialists from the WVU Medicine Center for Integrative Pain Management (WVU CIPM) are offering chiropractic services, massage therapy, and exercise therapy services to WVU Medicine employees on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The goal is to help employees who suffer from a variety of musculoskeletal problems and physical stresses that arise from the increased work demands of staff during this stressful time.

Some of the therapies being used are massage, battlefield acupuncture, manipulation, and stretching. Each therapy promotes healthy habits to alleviate common problems such as back pain, neck pain, and other stresses.

Therapies are offered Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. in the HSC Wellness Studio, Room G278. No appointments are necessary.
