Community Service Opportunities

Food Pantries
Current needs for Heart and Hand and the Covenant House Food Pantries include cereal, pancake mix and syrup, pasta (dried or canned), canned fruit, meal makers (Hamburger Helper-type), and saltines. Microwaveable dishes are not needed at this time. Donations may be left in the Elizabeth Memorial Methodist Church entryway bins Monday-Thursday from 9 am-noon. Thank you for feeding the hungry!

Coat the City
Please help us Coat the City again with new and gently used coats, jackets and extra heavy sweaters and sweatshirts – hats, scarves and gloves are welcome, too. All ages and sizes are needed. Coats will be collected at Elizabeth Memorial Methodist Church through Oct. 31. If your workplace or a group you belong to is willing to collect coats, we will pick them up. Questions? Contact Nancy Cipoletti, nancy8267@yahoo.com or 304-541-7394.
