Delta Omega to host poster competition with cash prizes

The Gamma Mu Chapter of Delta Omega Public Health Honor Society will host its annual poster competition at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 28, in the Health Sciences Center North, Room G119A.

Undergraduate and graduate students from any college/school at WVU who are actively conducting research with public health implications are eligible to participate. Winners will receive a $500 scholarship to attend the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting.

Abstracts and posters are due by March 27 at 11:55 p.m.

The 2025 APHA Annual Meeting is scheduled for Nov. 2-5 in Washington, D.C. Attendees will not only have the opportunity to interact with thousands of public health professionals nationwide, but also to present their research and establish connections with potential future employers and mentors.

Delta Omega is a national organization and honor society committed to enhancing the standard of public health practice across the country and championing initiatives aimed at improving the health of all individuals. The Gamma Mu Chapter, based at WVU, has garnered recognition as Chapter of the Year on multiple occasions, notably for its dedication to social and community service endeavors.
