Dental students, professionals invited to WVU for technology exhibit

The West Virginia University School of Dentistry and Center for Research & Education in Technology invite area professionals to campus Friday, May 2, from 8:30 a.m. to noon for a dental exhibit and vendor fair in the WVU Health Sciences Center Pylons Commons showcasing the latest technology and innovations. The event, Discover CRET, is also an opportunity for students to learn more about the technologies and products they will work with throughout their education.

Registration is open through April 23 and includes lunch, door prizes, samples and giveaways provided by CRET. The event is free and open to all area dental professionals and WVU School of Dentistry alumni, students, faculty and staff.

Throughout the exhibit, vendors will be available to discuss the newest products, procedures and equipment for patient care.

CRET includes more than 30 member companies that provide state-of-the-art materials, furnishings and patient care devices to dental schools through on-campus innovation centers to ensure a successful transition from student to practitioner.

Opened in 2017, and one of only five CRET innovation centers in the U.S., the WVU School of Dentistry is home to the Dr. W. Robert Biddington Center for Dental Innovation.
