Department of Biochemistry to host Nobel Laureate
Oct. 5 at Noon via Zoom
The Department of Biochemistry is excited to host an upcoming seminar with Dr. Brian K. Kobilka, a recipient of the 2012 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
Dr. Kobilka will be presenting a seminar on Oct. 5 at noon via Zoom, "Structural insights into the dynamic process of G protein coupled receptor activation."
All faculty, students and staff are welcome to join this meeting. The session is facilitated by Dr. Brandon Choi. Please request Zoom access from Crystal Verdini.
In addition, we would like to encourage every graduate student, as well as undergraduate students at WVU, to join a Student Meeting with the Nobel Laureate at 2 p.m. on the same date.
This session for students only will be hosted by Giovanni Howells, a graduate student from the Choi Lab in the Biochemistry Department. Students will have a chance to ask questions and directly interact with the Nobel Laureate.
To attend the student meeting, please send an RSVP as soon as possible to Crystal with your name and your department. (Note: If you have already RSVP'd, you need not RSVP again.)
