Department of Medicine to hold first annual Research Day

The Department of Medicine will host the first annual Research Day on Friday, April 7, 2017. The event kick-off with a half-day program from noon to 5:00 p.m.  

The program will begin with a Plenary Session: A Serendipitous Life in Epidemics in Fukushima Auditorium, led by Judith Feinberg, M.D.

The plenary session will be followed by Small Group Sessions in G119-B North, where participants can choose to attend four of eight offered topics:

Clinical Research
Clinical Trials
Survey Research
Qualitative Research
Epidemiologic Research
Use of large Databases
Scholarship of Teaching and Learning
Comparative Effectiveness Research

Each of these sessions will be delivered by acclaimed faculty from across the WVU Health Sciences Center. The sessions will be followed by a Poster Session from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Deadline for submission of abstracts is March 15, 2017.
