Dr. Dhairya A. Lakhani Named Recipient of the 2026 RSNA Rising Star Award

Please join us in congratulating Dhairya A. Lakhani, M.D., vice chair of clinical research and medical director of informatics in the Department of Neuroradiology, on being named a recipient of the 2026 RSNA Rising Star Award by the Radiological Society of North America.

Established in 2024, the award recognizes early-career radiologists who have made outstanding contributions to radiology education through excellence in teaching, educational leadership, innovation, community outreach and volunteer service. Lakhani was honored for his impactful contributions across multiple areas of radiology education and his commitment to advancing the professional development of radiologists and imaging scientists.

As a Rising Star Award recipient, Lakhani has been invited to help plan and present educational sessions in the Douglas W. MacEwan Rising Star Track at the 2027 RSNA Annual Meeting and to develop educational resources for RSNA's Education Central.

The national recognition reflects Lakhani's dedication to education, mentorship and innovation, while highlighting the Department of Neuroradiology's commitment to excellence in academic radiology.
