Peds Grand Rounds is broadcast from Morgantown every Wednesday 8-9 am. The first Wednesday is at the board room on the 8th floor of BMC. Remaining sessions held at the ED conference room in ED of BMC. If you are on a Pediatrics Week, please plan to attend.

Health & Resiliency Program Yoga (formerly Karma Yoga) – *LIMITED TO 12 PARTICIPANTS* Wednesdays, Jan. 8-Dec. 30, 5:00-7:00pm, in Eastern HSC Mountaineer Room. Free sessions for employees and medical students to promote wellness. Supplies are limited; if you have yoga equipment, you are encouraged to bring it to the classes.

Volunteers for HSTA – The local HSTA (Health Sciences & Technology Academy) clubs are looking for speakers to present at meetings in November. Presentations can be science or healthcare related. Fun Volunteer Opportunity – Jefferson County Community Ministries Food Pantry, 238 W. Washington Street, Charles Town. 3^rd Saturday of each month, beginning at 10am. Volunteers will work with Dr. Maddie Humerick, Chef Scott, and others to assist the food pantry patrons to improve their nutrition status with monthly cooking demonstrations. Help needed with setup, tear-down, cooking process, and interacting with patrons. For additional information, contact: Dr. Audreanna James (audreanna.james@wvumedicine.org). Volunteers Needed – Chronic illness group and their support system is looking for speakers to give 45-minute presentations on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Meetings held 9-10:30am in the Dorothy McCormack Center, 2^nd floor conference room. Topics can be health-related, inspirational, supportive, educational about coping mechanisms, sharing a story/experience, or a fun activity. ERAS Transcripts – Please return your ERAS transcript request form and a $12 money order to Eastern Student Services by July 15^th. Money order must be signed in order for the Registrar’s office to issue your transcript. You may purchase money orders at CVS or Walgreens. Be sure it is made payable to “WVU”. Contact Michelle Alder (alderm@wvumedicine.org) or Christa Schwoerer (christa.schwoerer.m@wvumedicine.org) to coordinate a date/time to drop off your request form and money order when a staff member is in the office, or mail to: WVU Eastern Campus, Attn: Academic Advisor, 2500 Foundation Way, Martinsburg, WV 25401.

Desks/Textbooks – If you have NOT returned your textbooks, cleared your desks in the Study Area or returned your desk keys, please contact Michelle Alder (alderm@wvumedicine.org) by Fri., June 26^th, to make arrangements to do so. Space will be needed for the incoming MS3 class.

MS3 Class of 2022

Boot Camp – Will be held June 29-July 2 at the Eastern Campus Health Sciences Center (2500 Foundation Way, Martinsburg WV). Be sure to watch your email for paperwork to complete and return in advance. A schedule will be sent when it has been finalized. We are looking forward to your arrival!!

V-Scans – Eastern Campus has been loaned 8 ultrasound V-Scan portable machines for student use during your rotations – 2 scanners each for Family Med, Internal Med, Pediatrics, and Surgery. The units are available for checkout in the Student Services office. Please contact Christa (christa.schwoerer.m@wvumedicine.org) or Michelle (alderm@wvumedicine.org) to sign out a unit for use on rotation.
