Employees invited to ‘pink out’ on Wednesday in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Find your favorite pink shirt, pants, scarf, or tie and plan to wear them on Wednesday, Oct. 20, in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Employees throughout WVU Hospitals are encouraged to “pink out” that day.
In addition, a photo is being planned, and all those wearing pink are invited. Just gather in the lawn in front of the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute on Wednesday at 1 p.m. for a "pink out" photo shoot. A face mask is required.
At the photo shoot, T-shirts from the WVU Cancer Institute’s recent Breast Cancer Survivors’ Walk will be available for purchase for $10 donation to the Betty Puskar Cancer Care and Support Fund, which is used for clinic enhancement; equipment purchases; clinical therapeutic activities; and patient needs relating to travel, housing, and meals. Limited T-shirt sizes are available.
Let’s all “think pink” on Wednesday!
