Feinberg’s article featured in Annals of Internal Medicine

West Virginia University Health Sciences Vice Chair of Research for the Department of Medicine Judith Feinberg, M.D., recently had her work published in the medical journal Annals of Internal Medicine.

The article will be distributed to over 159,000 American College of Physician members and is now available on the Annals website.

Feinberg’s article, titled Tenofovir Alafenamide for HIV Preexposure Prophylaxis: What Can We DISCOVER About Its True Value, explores the effects of the United States switching its HIV PrEP medicine from tenofovir disoproxil to the safer tenofovir alafenamide.

Feinberg collaborated on the article with Douglas Krakower, M.D., Demetre Daskalakis, M.D. and Julia Maruch, Ph.D.
