Four WVU Medicine physicians elected to UHA board

University Health Associates (UHA) recently announced updates to its Board of Directors.

Matthew Dietz, MD, Department of Orthopaedics, has been elected to a two-year term on the Board. He joins re-elected physicians Hannah Hazard-Jenkins, MD, Department of Surgery; Nathan Lerfald, MD, Department of Medicine; and Kathy Moffett, MD, Department of Pediatrics. Their terms run from July 2023 through June 2025.

Continuing to fulfill their terms on the Board are Christopher Goode, MD, FACEP, Department of Emergency Medicine; Jeffrey Lancaster, MD, Department of Pediatrics; and Arif Sarwari, MD, MSc, MBA, Department of Medicine.

UHA is the business name for the WVU Medical Corporation, a private, not-for-profit corporation composed of faculty members of the WVU School of Medicine. The WVU Medical Corporation is West Virginia’s largest multi-specialty physician practice.

UHA also operates faculty clinics around the state and region, and provides support to faculty members who practice at a number of West Virginia hospitals.
