Four WVU physicians elected to UHA board
Four WVU physicians have been elected to two-year terms on the University Health Associates (UHA) Board of Directors. The elected providers are Hannah Hazard-Jenkins, MD, Department of Surgery, and Nathan Lerfald, MD, Department of Medicine. The re-elected providers are Kathy Moffett, MD, Department of Pediatrics, and Alison Wilson, MD, Department of Surgery. They will all serve from July 2021 through June 2023.
Continuing to fulfill their terms are Arif Sarwari, MD, Department of Medicine; Sanford Emery, MD, Department of Orthopaedics; and Michael Hurst, MD, Department of Otolaryngology.
University Health Associates is the business name for the WVU Medical Corporation, a private, not-for-profit corporation composed of faculty members of the WVU School of Medicine. The WVU Medical Corporation is West Virginia’s largest multi-specialty physician practice.
UHA also operates faculty clinics around the state and region, and provides support to faculty members who practice at a number of West Virginia hospitals.
