Have fun, relax, during Hospital Week May 9-15
WVU Hospitals (WVUH) salutes its dedicated, hardworking employees with a week full of activities aimed at having fun and recharging during Hospital Week, May 9-15. Here’s a run-down of some of the festivities:
Food
As a special lunchtime treat, food trucks will be on campus each day starting at 11 a.m. They will be located next to the Cancer Institute and near the Ruby loading dock.
Daily themes
Also, Bravo! has planned a different theme for each day and employees are encouraged to participate and dress up for each one. There will be a contest for “best dressed” each day. (Note: WVU Medicine Dress and Appearance Policy should be followed.)

Discounts
Employees can enjoy discounts at Friends Gift Shop, Starbucks, Ruby Cafe, Neuro Cafe, and the WVU Pharmacies, as well as area businesses.

Offered throughout the week at various times and locations, usually near the employee entrances and main lobby
In addition to these activities, employees will see messages of encouragement through Card My Yard and Chalk the Walk initiatives.
Weather permitting, the Chalk the Walk will be held on Monday, May 9, from 3-6 p.m. at the Heart and Vascular Institute entrance. Employees are invited to join in and show their support; chalk will be available.
There also will be special messages on the Milan Puskar Stadium scoreboard (best viewed from the top hospital floors) throughout the week.
Employees who work are off-campus or remotely are encouraged to visit the hospital at any time during the week to use discounts and take part in any of the activities.
