HSC Azure Virtual Desktop environment will be inaccessible Sunday
The Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) service will be unavailable to Health Sciences users from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. Sunday, June 23, during a critical upgrade.
AVD is used for remote access to certain WVU resources. If you don’t currently use this tool, you are not affected. During this upgrade Sunday, you will be unable to use AVD to access virtual applications through http://virtualapps.wvu.edu, the HAI Azure environment (testing phase) and the Medicaid Administration Course.
This planned outage is part of ITS’ ongoing work to install new network security software before July 1.
