International disarmament expert to speak at Health Sciences Wednesday, May 8

Hector Guerra, director of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines-Cluster Munition Coalition, will deliver a guest lecture this Wednesday, May 8 at noon in the Vice President's Administrative Conference Room at the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center.

An expert on diplomatic processes related to disarmament, non-proliferation and arms regulation instruments, Guerra is a co-founder of the Network for Human Security in Latin America and the Caribbean, a former secretary of the board of Amnesty International in Mexico and a member of the group of academic advisers to the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation to Mexico.
