Latest radiography graduating class includes 18

WVU Hospitals' 2021 Radiography class graduated on May 7.

The students are graduates of a two-year program sponsored by WVU Hospitals and accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).

The program is recognized by the United States Department of Education and is eligible for participation in the federal Title IV (Student Financial Aid) programs. It provides comprehensive didactic and clinical education in the radiologic sciences and enrolls 18 students per academic year.

A formal graduation ceremony was held on May 14 at the WVU Health Sciences Center. Of the 18 graduates, 14 have accepted either full-time, part-time, or casual positions as radiologic technologists at WVU Medicine and seven are pursuing additional education in WVU Medicine advanced imaging programs.
