Flu Shot Locations on Morgantown Campus. M2-M4 the portal to upload flu shot documentation will open Nov. 10th. M1s you an upload to Sentry MD/PreCheck at any time.

Students are reminded that if you are in the HSC building for any reason you are required to wear a mask. Please also remember to practice good hand hygiene and social distancing. COVID has not gone away, and we want to continue to do our part in stopping the spread.

Be sure that you have requested your letters of recommendation and are nearly finished with your data entry in ERAS in prep for your application to open next month!

MS3 Class of 2022

Save the date! GTR 1.5 – Getting to Residency will be held October 29th at 12pm. Stay tuned for more details.

Dear Future Pediatricians in the Class of 2022:

The application for the Pediatrics Residency Rural Scholars Program is now open for all MS3's on all campuses. The attachment highlights the tremendous benefits for you if you are chosen to be one of Scholars.

Below is summary of three amazing benefits:

  1. You will receive a $10,000 stipend applied to your Year 4 tuition
  2. You will receive an IPad to enhance your studies and help with your Rural Scholars' project, which you design and lead to improve the lives of the children of WV and beyond
  3. You will earn a position in the WVU Pediatrics Residency Program, thereby avoiding the need to interview during fall of your senior year, saving you up to $12,000 in travel and accommodation costs, eliminating the stress involved in waiting for the Match in March of 2022, and freeing up more time for more electives!

MS2 Class of 2023

Student Services will be hosting a Class Check-In on October 15 at 5pm via Zoom. No formal agenda, an open forum and hopefully some virtual fun, too. Feel free to bring your own snack and your favorite evening beverage.

MS1 Class of 2024

This site has directions to complete prior to taking the NBME exam, such as downloading the browser and certifying your workstation (which can be any number- just pick one J) on your computer. You may want to complete sometime in the next few weeks to prepare. If any issues surface, please call tech at 304-293-3631 option 1. Also, you will notice that the directions include guidance for both WebEx and Zoom. Please disregard WebEx and focus on the Zoom directions starting on page 6.
