COVID Testing Post-Holidays: If you are a medical student in year 3 or 4 (class of 2021 and 2022) at the Morgantown campus AND you will not be in Morgantown over the break, then you must get your COVID-19 test on January 4th at the Recreation Center.
The testing center is NOT open to the general University and your student status information will be shared by the school in advance so that you can register for testing on this date. Turnaround for testing results is approximately 24-48 hours and you should not plan to return to on site learning until you received your test results.

If you are a medical student based at the Morgantown campus AND you plan on being in Morgantown over the winter break, then you can receive a COVID-19 test on either December 29th (Tuesday) or December 30th (Wednesday) at the Recreation Center.
The testing center is NOT open to the general University and your student status information will be shared by the school in advance so that you can register for testing on one of these dates. Since testing will be done prior to the New Year's holiday, the University strongly urges that you avoid all potential super spreader social gatherings, to practice physical distancing, and to wear face coverings to the fullest extent possible. This early testing option is ideal for those whose permanent residence is the Morgantown area or who are willing to return to campus early and remain here. It will also decompress the other testing dates.
