MS3 Class of 2022

Getting to 4^th Year Monday, Feb 4^th at400pm. We will be going over all the steps to take to get ready for your 4^th year to include, scheduling, VSAS/away rotations, required courses, electives, rural health and CPX. Please be on the watch for a message from Christina prior to the meeting with important documents and information as well as the Zoom meeting ID number. .

Dear Future Pediatricians in the Class of 2022:

The application for the Pediatrics Residency Rural Scholars Program is now open for all MS3's on all campuses. The attachment highlights the tremendous benefits for you if you are chosen to be one of Scholars.

Below is summary of three amazing benefits:

1. You will receive a $10,000 stipend applied to your Year 4 tuition
2. You will receive an IPad to enhance your studies and help with your Rural Scholars' project, which you design and lead to improve the lives of the children of WV and beyond
3. You will earn a position in the WVU Pediatrics Residency Program, thereby avoiding the need to interview during fall of your senior year, saving you up to $12,000 in travel and accommodation costs, eliminating the stress involved in waiting for the Match in March of 2022, and freeing up more time for more electives!

Quick Class Meeting Wednesday, January 27^th at 3:00 pm. Zoom ID: 202 357 3070. Anna Lama will present about completing peer evaluations during virtual learning. Please attend!

1. and Morgantown bound students. Wave 1 will begin Wednesday, January 27^th at 4:00(Morg) and 4:05(Char). During Wave 1 you simply choose your top preference for clerkship. Ex: Family Medicine in Block 3. You will select all other clerkships during Wave 2 on Thursday, January 28^th at 4:00 (Morg) and 4:30 (Chars). After Wave 2, and selections are verified, you can begin filling out your rural requests for Family Medicine.
