Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer opportunity for medical students at Sundale Nursing Home. At this time, the Director of Activities and Marketing is looking for volunteers that would be interested in assisting with COVID testing individuals presenting to the facility during nursing home resident visitation. There is also an opportunity to chaperone visitations as well. Hours are flexible and include evenings and weekends. Anyone interested can contact me directly via email (shraderc@wvumedicine.org) or the following Sundale staff: Donna Tennant, Director of Activities and Marketing or Tammy Wills, Infection Preventionist at 304-599-0497.

Amedisys Hospice is recruiting volunteers to assist their patients with various activities ranging from providing companionship via phone calls or in person visits, assisting with reading and writing letters, playing board games, scrapbooking/craft projects, and pet therapy to name a few. Hours are very flexible. Please refer interested participates to Austin Parrish, Amedisys Volunteer Coordinator at 304-285-2777.

MS4 Class of 2022

ERAS applications will open for you to begin applying to programs on the first Wednesday of September (September 1st)

Programs will not be able to begin reviewing your applications until the fifth Wednesday of September (September 29th). Your MSPE will be available to the programs with their initial application review this same day.

MS3 Class of 2023
