MS4 Class of 2020

You’ll likely be getting paperwork for your residency and licensures. Because of the COVID response plan, our physical office is closed. Please mail your paperwork to Student Services, c/o Sheri Frankenberry at PO Box 9111, Morgantown, WV 26505 or email to Sheri. Note that the turnaround time for this paperwork will be delayed as the Registrar and Dean are also not in the office daily.

MS3 Class of 2021

Audition Rotation Updates: VSLO reopens Tuesday, May 19th. Please be aware that some schools may deny your requests for an audition rotation, especially since WVU can supply rotations for most specialties. Host initiations may also decide to cancel audition rotations with a late notice for a variety of reasons, such as a lack of PPE, etc... If you are denied an audition rotation or if a planned rotation is suddenly canceled, please see your campus student services team to reschedule a rotation.

Applying to Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) is going to look VERY different this year, with recommendations for sharply curtailed visiting/away rotations, online interviews, and a changed application timeline. The University of Michigan/Michigan Medicine Otolaryngology Residency is here to help! Join us for the Michigan Otolaryngology Virtual Sub internship, a FREE, one-day VIRTUAL event for senior medical students going into OHNS, on Saturday June 13, 2020! The day will feature interviews with Michigan Medicine faculty and residents about all OHNS subspecialties. Faculty, residents, and alumni will share advice for going into OHNS, and resident-recommended and organized resources for applying to and thriving during OHNS residency will be given to each participant. Other topics covered will include scholarship during residency, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion. If interested, please register here to receive an agenda and the participant’s resource packet closer to the event. (https://umich-health.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_UngnmikSSWKbRseMxZ-W3g)
