The HSC Financial Aid Department has put together an event next week for all Health Professions students. They will have their office open to all students on November 20th and 21st who need any assistance on filling out their FAFSA’s. As it says on the attached flyer, we will ask that each student bring their own device to fill the FAFSA out on. If you do not complete the FAFSA early, you could potentially lose out on scholarship awards so take advantage of this opportunity. Please see attached flyer for further information.

Reminder from WVU Medicine Privacy Office: By far, the most common policy violations the Privacy Office is asked to investigate involve health care providers accessing their own medical records in EPIC. Failure to comply with the policy could result in disciplinary action, which might include, but is not limited to, termination of employment or educational status and/or loss of privileges to use EPIC. So Do Not access your own medical record through EPIC. MYWVUChart is a platform though which individuals can access their health information. Additional information on creating an account on MYWVUChart can be found at mywvuchart.com

If you have received an email from WVU that indicates you need to complete a Title IX training through EVERFI, please email Amy Drvar. This email was generated downtown for employees. Many of you were employees of the University last summer through your Summer Experiences (externships, INTRO, etc) If you’re no longer employed at the University, you will not have to complete the training – but I need to know who you are so that I can alert downtown.
