Flu Shot Locations on Morgantown Campus. M2-M4 the portal to upload flu shot documentation will open Nov. 10th. M1s you an upload to Sentry MD/PreCheck at any time.

Lawn chairs available for students to use across Health Sciences campus. Lawn chairs will be available for students to use across the Health Sciences campus to help promote social distancing in the outdoors.

Students are reminded that if you are in the HSC building for any reason you are required to wear a mask. Please also remember to practice good hand hygiene and social distancing. COVID has not gone away, and we want to continue to do our part in stopping the spread.

MS4 Class of 2021

We have been alerted that WVU leadership has modified their guidance for WVU students and employees that relates to domestic travel outside of WV: https://www.wvu.edu/return-to-campus/what-you-need-to-know/travel

Students may continue to submit requests to leave the state to clerkship directors. The Campus Deans will assist clerkship directors with all requests. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Students exposed to Covid and awaiting a test result, for example, would certainly be approved for remote learning. Much depends on why students are requesting time-off or for out-of-state travel

MS3 Class of 2022

This Thursday! GTR 0.5 – Getting to Residency will be held October 29th at 12pm. This will be your first major introduction to the Residency Application Process. We will meet via zoom. Amy will send the Zoom link on Wednesday.

The application for the Pediatrics Residency Rural Scholars Program is now open for all MS3's on all campuses. The attachment highlights the tremendous benefits for you if you are chosen to be one of Scholars.

Below is summary of three amazing benefits:

  1. You will receive a $10,000 stipend applied to your Year 4 tuition
  2. You will receive an IPad to enhance your studies and help with your Rural Scholars' project, which you design and lead to improve the lives of the children of WV and beyond
  3. You will earn a position in the WVU Pediatrics Residency Program, thereby avoiding the need to interview during fall of your senior year, saving you up to $12,000 in travel and accommodation costs, eliminating the stress involved in waiting for the Match in March of 2022, and freeing up more time for more electives!
